Shoma Persad is a fashion designer and the creative director of Shoma The Label. After a successful career in Marketing and Business Development in Canada, Persad returned to her inner passion for fashion and design. One thing leads to another, with her friend and long-time collaborator, Tobye Gill, they created a women’s resort fashion label in the Caribbean intended for one collection. Today, Shoma The Label is a solo fashion brand and a well-established high-end Caribbean business, regionally awarded and proudly taking the Trinidad & Tobago luxury clothing industry to the international market.
