The Geejam Hotel and Recording Studio, located near Port Antonio in Portland Parish on Jamaica's remote northeast coast where the jungle meets the sea, just launched a new chapter in its historic history.

In late April, the hotel reopened with the addition of 12 Rumba Rooms.

Jon Baker and Steve Beaver, co-founders of the Geejam and hoteliers and music industry veterans, continue to provide a mix of luxury, music, culture, and hospitality to its visitors.

Baker stated, "It's been 30 years since I bought a tiny vacation villa in what I regard to be the most beautiful place on the planet." "I never expected at the time that the property would become Geejam in 2008 and that it would be sold."
