The first step is cleansing in any skincare routine. Cleansing removes dirt and oil from your skin. Start with cleansing your face when you wake up, and before going to sleep, it removes pollution, dirt, makeup and oil from your face that may have built-up on the skin throughout the day and while you slept.  Wash your face with warm water, ensuring that it should not be too hot. Hot water can damage your skin. Apply facial cleanser on your face, all areas of your skin should be wet. Massage your face with your fingers in a circular motion and avoid eye and mouth areas. Continue this process at least for a minute and then wash it with warm water. Use a clean and soft towel to dry your skin. While using a towel, don’t rub your face. It can damage your skin. Avoid dirty towels; bacteria can quickly transfer on your face from the towel.

What is a toner? Toner refers to a lotion or wash designed to cleanse the skin and shrink the appearance of pores, usually on the face.

Toner should be used after cleansing; it will remove any extra pollution, makeup, dirt, and oil that you may have missed during cleansing. Many people tend to skip toners because many of them tend to be very harsh on the skin, toners are intended for different skin issues, you should find the one that works best for your skin type.

How to apply a toner: Toners can be applied to the skin in different ways. One of the ways is to Immerse cotton with the liquid of toner, rub lightly toner-soaked cotton on your face. If your nose, chin, and forehead have oil all the time, then give extra attention to these areas while applying toner. Avoid the eyes and mouth area.
